Andrew (“Drew”) Wachtman joined Rockwell Law in 2023. Drew is a highly motivated individual with extensive background involving litigation, insurance coverage, business transactions, and client relationships. He is licensed in Ohio’s state and federal courts. His work includes resolving matters through pre-litigation, first chair trials, and appeals. In addition to civil liability defense, areas of practice include complex insurance coverage analysis and extensive consultation with national clients regarding general liability and automobile liability issues.
Drew, a 1993 cum laude graduate of Capital University Law School, is known for excellent teamwork and organizational skills, especially in the areas of case assessment and implementation of client strategies and goals. He has been in private practice for over 30 years engaged primarily in civil defense law. He excels in the role as national coordinating counsel for our larger clients in matters such as retaining efficient, qualified, local counsel, assessing tender or third-party indemnification opportunities, and resolving litigation in the most cost-effective and beneficial manner for the client. For Drew, responsibility for a client matter does not mean rote churning of tasks, but rather issue recognition to ensure accomplishment of any particular task achieves the broader goals sought by the client and avoids complications and surprises.
Drew, and his wife Kristi, reside in Pickerington, Ohio, are engaged in community activities, and enjoy all the life experiences brought by their three children.
